FoodieGo is a next-generation food delivery app designed to compete with established players by focusing on speed, clarity, and a premium visual experience. I designed the complete product from discovery through delivery-ready prototypes.

The Challenge

The client needed a UI that could handle a large restaurant catalogue (1,000+ restaurants) without feeling cluttered, while also providing an exciting, premium feel that matched their brand positioning.

My Approach

Conducted competitor UX audits across Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and DoorDash to identify gaps. Ran card sorting sessions and tree testing with 30 users to validate information architecture. Created low-fidelity wireframes validated through 3 rounds of usability testing.

Solution

Designed a curated discovery feed using personalisation signals, a frictionless 3-step checkout flow, and a real-time order tracking screen with micro-animations. The colour system uses warm tones to stimulate appetite while maintaining accessibility (WCAG AA).
